How much fencing do I need?

Each panel is a fixed size - the fence stands in a zig-zag (concertina), so 2 panels close roughly 2 feet of garden. Slide to your length and we will draw it for you, to scale.

14 ft = 14 panels

Need longer than 35ft?

No problem - the panels simply clip together, so just add the sizes that make up your total length. For a 40ft run, add a 35ft and a 5ft to your basket and clip them into one continuous fence.

How the fixing kit works

Fix your fence between two hard surfaces - a wall, fence or post - and it works like a gate. One end swings on 2 hinge brackets; the other closes with a hasp and staple, so you can open it up, walk through and latch it shut behind you.

In the kit

  • 2 × hinge brackets
  • 1 × hasp & staple
  • 1 × carabiner
  • Screws & rawl plugs
  1. Fixed end: screw the 2 hinge brackets to the wall or post - one near the top, one near the bottom - and sit the end wire of the fence in the loops.
  2. Opening end: screw the hasp and staple to the wall or post on the other side, roughly halfway up the panel.
  3. To close: swing the hasp over the end of the fence, drop it onto the staple and clip the carabiner through.
  4. To open: unclip the carabiner, lift the hasp and fold the fence back towards the hinges.

Use the rawl plugs for brick or stone - the screws go straight into a timber post or fence.

Closed: hinged at one end, latched at the other - the fence spans the whole gap. Open: unclip the hasp and fold the fence back towards the hinges to walk through.

Fixed end

One bracket near the top, one near the bottom. Screw them to the wall or post - the end wire of the fence sits in the loops, so the whole fence pivots here.

Opening end

About halfway up. The hasp closes over the end of the fence onto the staple, and the carabiner clips through to keep it shut - or use a small padlock.

Turn any panel into a temporary gate

Add a pack of 2 dog-lead trigger clips and any panel edge becomes a doorway. Fit one clip at the top and one at the bottom in place of the standard joining clips - that panel then unclips in seconds and swings open like a gate, and clips shut behind you.

  1. Pick where you want your doorway - any panel edge can be it.
  2. Fit the 2 trigger clips from the pack in place of the standard joining clips - one at the top, one at the bottom.
  3. Squeeze the triggers to unclip and swing the panel open; clip back on to close it behind you.
