Raised Beds need to be assembled, they come as flat packs with all the components inside one of the packs.
The wood is water pressure treated and due to this the wood can come wet due to our supplies not having time to dry out, these can be dried out at home.
Please be aware raised beds thats are 6ft long and upwards come as separate boards and are joined together with a joiner board.
Ideal for planting crops earlier than usual as the soil in a raised bed will warm up sooner than in the ground. Soil in a raised bed does not get as compacted as in the ground and the drainage is also better in a raised bed. These are a must if you are trying to garden on clay and impoverished soil.
We offer the raised bed/planters in five height variations 6",12",18", 24" & 30" and in various sizes.
The beds are made from 6" x 1" nominal thickness boards of selected quality FSC timber. All timber is pressure treated with an eco-friendly preservative which will extend the life of your raised beds for up to 10 years. All timber is sourced from FSC Forests. The corners are supported by 2" x 2" timber posts The boards are joined to the posts with the long-life screws provided. Easy to Assemble.

EASY-ASSEMBLE FLAT PACK WITH PLANKS, CORNER POSTS & SCREWS: Prepare or rotavate ground and ensure it is flat. Raised beds sit about 1 inch (3 cm) down in the earth. Assemble these planters with a second person, if possible, using a power drill and cordless screwdriver (not included). Start by joining panels vertically, attach joining pieces on long elements and join corners together using the corner post. Then push planter down onto soil. Timber is not planed, so fraying and chips can occur.
